Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Senthur Chits India Pvt. Ltd., we strive to ensure a smooth and transparent digital payment experience for all our subscribers. This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all online transactions made towards chit subscriptions, late fees, or related services.

1. Refund for Failed Transactions

If the payment amount is debited from your account but the transaction fails (i.e., the amount is not credited to Senthur Chits), a refund will be initiated immediately through the respective payment gateway or bank. However, please note:

  • The timeliness and accuracy of refunds reaching your account/card depend on multiple external entities, such as payment processors, banks, and internet infrastructure.
  • Refund timelines may vary due to bank working days, holidays, and intermediary processes, and Senthur Chits cannot guarantee exact timelines for credit.

2. Successful Transactions – No Refunds

  • Once a payment has been successfully processed and credited to Senthur Chits’ account, it is final and non-refundable.
  • This includes subscription dues, auction payments, or late fees remitted by the subscriber.
  • As chit fund subscriptions are contractual commitments under the Chit Funds Act, 1982, payments cannot be reversed or canceled once made.

3. Scope of Service

  • The service provided by Senthur Chits is limited to enabling digital remittance of chit subscription dues and applicable charges.
  • Subscribers make payments voluntarily and with full understanding of their commitments.
  • Senthur Chits shall not be liable for reversals or refunds in cases where payments are successful and credited to the company’s bank account.

4. Timeframe for Refunds

  • While refunds for failed transactions are initiated immediately, the actual credit into your bank/card may take 5–7 working days depending on your bank/payment processor.
  • Senthur Chits is not responsible for delays beyond its control.

5. No Liability for Double Payments

  • If a customer accidentally makes duplicate or excess payments, refunds may be considered only upon written request with proof.
  • Such cases will be processed after verification and adjustment against future dues.
  • Senthur Chits reserves the right to decide whether to refund or adjust against subscription obligations.

6. Service Charges / Convenience Fees

  • Any service charges, convenience fees, or GST paid to banks/payment gateways are non-refundable, even if a refund is approved.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be issued net of such charges.

7. Unauthorized / Fraudulent Transactions

  • Senthur Chits is not liable for unauthorized or fraudulent use of your bank account, card, or UPI credentials.
  • Customers are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their payment details.
  • In such cases, refunds will not be processed by Senthur Chits; you must raise a claim with your bank.

8. Force Majeure

  • Senthur Chits will not be responsible for delays or failure of refunds caused by events beyond our reasonable control (bank failures, internet outages, regulatory restrictions, etc.).

9. Dispute Resolution

  • In case of disputes regarding payments, customers must notify Senthur Chits within 7 days of the transaction with proper proof (transaction ID, bank statement, etc.).
  • Disputes will be resolved in accordance with the Chit Funds Act, 1982 and applicable financial regulations.
